Super-Foods
Today I went to Niwot to teach a class for some kiddos at Manifest Art Gallery, which is a super-fun space owned by a super-cool gal. The idea was to brainstorm breakfast foods and super powers (à la Bacon Boy), then match them up and write a comic. We came up with lots of ideas, but most of the kids decided they'd rather use their regular subjects (Turkeys vs. Stick Figures or Dr. Who) for the actual comics part. I, on the other hand, came up with one I like: a cinnamon roll who is a super-ugly shape-shifter.
I colored her in with crayons (as usual) but was pretty disappointed in the performance of my scanner when it came to interpreting the fluorescents in the palette. So I took a picture using photobooth. You decide which looks more radioactive.
